This evening, as I was finishing my dinner, I noticed something red in the Cedar hedge behind our back yard. I quickly put my dishes in the dishwater and got my camera. Unfortunately the glass back door was poorly affecting the photos, so I very slowly and carefully opened the door. It started singing it's familiar song pichew pichew tiw tiw tiw tiw tiw tiw. Max, my dog has very sensitive ears and he didn't know what this sound was so he barked. Very surprisingly it didn't fly away, it just moved to a branch inside the tree (cardinals are usually very timid.) But I wasn't complaining about this daring cardinal because I was able to get many clear photos and videos of it. Then I went upstairs to write a blog post about it.

My Dog, Max

Max is a 1 year, 340 days old Pug. His favourite things to do are go for walks and take long naps. His favourite toys are his blanket, rope and "bouncy ball". Max sleeps on his bed, our sofa and our couch, during the night he sleeps with me in my bed. He is very active, entertaining us when somebody has just entered our front door. Pugs are known as "big dogs in small bodies" for his big personality behaviour. When visitors leave he is sleeping quietly on his bed only "rolling" his eyes at people when they call "Max, come!" When are quite privileged to have such a friendly, entertaining dog in our home, thank you mom and dad for adopting Max, our Pug.

Birdman

Max

I bet some of you are thinking I haven't done a blog post on Max in a long time so here is an update about him. He has a few miner health issues; he is having a allergic reaction on his ear and belly but we are taking him for surgery on Thursday, he is 1 pound over the maximum weight for his age but we are feeding him special food and walking him everyday. Also we have to risk him running away when we walk him because his collar doesn't fit over his coat but we only walk him around the back of the house and we are keeping close watch on him. Of course once Spring begins he can go for larger walks with a collar and leash.
Goodbye,
Birdman

Max

* You may need to turn the volume up *

Our dog Max is a 11 3/4 months old. He weighs 21.02 pounds. He knows many tricks including, sit, shake, roll over, jump and more! He spends most of his time, playing, sleeping and eating. We feed him adult Beneful dog food. His favourite places to sleep are his extra large dog bed, the couch and of course my bed. His favourite toys are ropes, chew toys (especially the one that squeak) and blankets. He secretly takes my bed covers. He is a hilarious fawn Pug. He has a couple white spots on him. And a black face and ears. We love him so much. He is an excellent dog, and I would recommend a Pug to any dog lover. The only thing you may not like is he snores EXTREMELY LOUD and is occasionally stubborn and/or aggressive. But despite all of the Pugs cons, their pros overcome them and they are like little comedians! He's a great or should I say EXCELLENT DOG!!! They're like little guards dogs also WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! Sometimes they bark for attention! Nearly anyone would love a PUG!! I sure do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
