Terry MacAlmon
Birds-This weekend there were many species of birds including what I thought was a Red-breasted Nuthatch. Even Kim who had taken birds for granted had found an interest for birds. She spotted some Blue Jays and said in Montreal ( where she lives) White-breasted Nuthatches feed on her hand. In Lynde's Conservation Area we have those feed in huge flocks at our hand. They even had a ride in my bucket of seed! I tried not to laugh but I couldn't help it and I scared the birds away.
Petz 5-For this paragraph my brother Jesse will be giving his opinion to this game (he wants me to do this)Okay, Jesse is talking
This game is so much fun, but there's something that I can't figure out. It's how to get to those two places. Its umm the lake and the bedroom. It doesn't tell you. And I really want to go there. And that's it. I like that chess game too. I don't want to do this anymore. Sammy that's all I'm doing Okay, Sammy.

Refreshing/Renewing Church
First my grandparents discovered there was a out-dated-church that needed someone to update it. My grandpa accepted the task and he got some workers, meanwhile he preached every Sunday 'till he got enough workers. Then they had to tear apart the Sanctuary. The next few Sundays everyone went downstairs to worship Jesus while the workers were getting rid of everything in there. After they built the new stage etc., etc. we praised God upstairs. Currently they are working on all the offices,
So we just pray in Jesus name that this church will be fixed and that he will direct us to the to right paths.
By the way today happens to be Sunday also........I totally forgot, I've got to get dressed and all ready..........................................Guess what I just said Jesus, then Max started barking like crazy.
So we know JC is in the house!!!!!
Hallelujah.
Okay Max you can stop barking it's just God, well, sure you can worship!
What is that, well you know, the one who created you and all.
1......2......3.......STOP BARKING MAX!!!!!!!!

Arizona Unidentified Birds
What is this?
What is this?
Here is have found a parrot in Mexico, it was even tame enough to go in my hand.
Every winter we go to Arizona, always finding new birds and other weird animals in the early morning. Here is the story of one of our trips:
It all began when our grandparents moved to Phoenix, Arizona so we decided to go there too. We signed out of school and we started to pack but it surprisingly didn't take very long. So we were ready to go and we were on the road. It took us 4 days and we made many stops to get souvenirs including a fancy wood-carved roadrunner.
By the time we were unpacked it was bedtime. So the next morning at 6 we went birding, but there wasn't any birds. But we continued walking until it was 8 and......There was birds here, there, over there, EVERYWHERE! IT WAS PORING WITH BIRDS! We didn't know which ones to identify first. So I just set my camera to rapidly taking pictures while I spinned around...Of course that wasn't exactly what happened I just took pictures of many birds, so beautiful I didn't know what they were?
We began putting birdseed out in our backyard and soon I found myself buying a 8kg bag of it. We had to refill 9 bird feeders daily. It was a lot of work but it was worth it. I finally got a field guide to Arizona Birds. And we saw quail, finches, hawks, wrens, thrushes, roadrunners, and lots lots more.
Thank you mom and dad for taking me here, IT WAS AN AWESOME TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

Very Close Pictures(Part 2)
It all began when we went out to buy birdseed. There was a variety of choices and we chose a mix seed bag. Then we went home and I made many types of feeders including water bottle feeders. I put the seed in them and they came right away. So I decided to tame them, I brought out all the required birding supplies and I was ready to go. I waited for hours standing with birdseed in my hand. Then finally a very brave chickadee finally came and took some seeds. Since then birds will come to my hand. Including nuthatches. But I couldn't have done it without cousin Ruth buying some birdfeeder parts. Here is a edited video of them on my hand.

White-breasted Nuthatch/Birding With Ruth
This weekend I went birding with my cousin Ruth. She picked me up at 9. We drove over to Linear Trail, which is 8kms long. We might have walked about 2 or 3 km of it but we still managed to identify 24 species of birds! Including a rare crossbreed between a Mallard and a Snow Goose. We also saw Cedar Waxwings, European Starlings, Northern Cardinals and lots more. It was very exciting and we were there for 2 and a half hours! After that we went to Ruth's house and had a snack, guess what we saw there........A Red-breasted Nuthatch!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats makes 25 species of birds. Wow the last time I saw that many was at Point Pelee! Anyway, after that we went to the swamp but we only saw Mallards and geese. So we decided to have lunch at Wendy's. Chicken, chicken I love chicken.......Hey, Samuel snap out of it. Oh fine , but here is a secret.................................................................CHICKEN!!! OK I'll stop being silly!
Anyway, I had a great time thank you cousin Ruth!!!!!
I forgot my camera though:-(

Hot Summer Days
This summer is eceptionaly hot, so hot that today I can't take Max for a walk. Today it is 40 degrees Celsius and Pugs are prone to heatstroke. Even my back has turned brown and I rarely exercise on my trampoline. Of course the picture of Max was early and only 20 degrees Celsius and he wasn't panting rapidly (a sign of heatstroke).
Anyway I don't have much time to write because were going to the Lake.

Squirrels, squirrels, squirrels
There is a skunk or should I say family of skunks living in our neighbours yard. They spray every morning and the smell stays all day. One time they came right in our front yard when my dad was loading his truck for the morning's work. My dad was surprised and a little scared when he noticed them. My dad was blessed that he did not get sprayed.
Even for skunks to come in the front yard with humans and lights on. Well, you just can't predict what an animal will do next.
